Recently completed, this apartment was designed by local award winning architect Chris Wilson (Wilson and Hill). The exterior is wrapped with copper and the roof appears to float. Entry is through a native grove via a meandering garden path to the left of the copper garage doors.
Situated on Clifton Hill, this Sumner self-contained apartment looks west to Christchurch City with wonderful views of the coastline and sea to the north.
The fully retractable sliding doors on the west and north sides of the apartment open onto decking. Sumner is a popular area with several beaches to choose from and spectacular views.
Arrive to a warm inviting space with lime washed pale timber floors and cozy lounge area with white blinds contrasting dark walls.
Controlled heating provides for a pleasant atmosphere all year round.
Relaxing lounge area
For those idle moments there is a selection of reading material and a television (with Sky) is housed in an oriental cupboard.
Behind the sofa is a desk and chair, wireless broadband is available on request or at the cafe (Coffee Culture) at the bottom of the hill
Top quality bedding and luxurious robes
The very comfortable queen bed is fitted with quality white linen. The spacious walk in wardrobe is adjacent with an always useful full length mirror. Complimentary guest robes are provided for use while at the apartment.
Contemporary well equipped kitchen
The kitchen area boasts a cream stone bench. There is a jug, toaster, wine glasses, crockery and cutlery.
Hidden away in the cupboards are the fridge, microwave, dishwasher and 2 ring elements.
The bathroom has a gas shower with excellent pressure and heated towel rail. Towels are provided.
